Learner Registrations

New for 09-10 Registering your Learners on line.

You can now register your learners on our website. For full instructions please download the How to Register your learners on line word document.

Early notification is required to ensure that the necessary documentation can be uploaded for your organisation and that the award of credit for learners can be completed quickly and efficiently. For more information on registering your learners please contact OCNSER.

How to complete the Learner Registration Spreadsheet

Complete details of all learners to be registered on this specific course using the OCNSER registration spreadsheet. You must check where NOCN qualifications (or units from NOCN qualifications) are included in the course that learners are registered prior to the qualification accreditation end date and meet the minimum age requirements (see the qualification guide for this information).

For short courses (less than 12 weeks duration) learners should be registered within 4 weeks of the start date of the course. For all other courses, learners should be registered within 12 weeks of the start date. If you have any problems complying with these arrangements please contact OCNSER to discuss this. A late registration fee may be charged.

OCNSER will enter learners onto the database from your completed spreadsheet. The information on the form will be used to generate:

  • An invoice, which will be sent to your finance contact. This will be according to the National Charging Structure.
  • A Recommendation for the Award of Credit(RAC) form, which will be issued to the Centre Administration Contact.

The Centre must make learners aware that their information will be passed to the OCN for registration purposes.
